Hall of Fame
Jody Lindstrom Beasley attended Chowan College from 1991-1993 where she was a member of the volleyball and softball teams. She was most recognized for her time on the volleyball court at Chowan under then head coach, Janet Collins. In two seasons at Chowan, she helped the Braves to a 65-18 overall record. Beasley earned All Region honors in both her freshman and sophmore seasons and was named Honorable Mention All-American in her sophmore year after leading the nation in digs.
After graduating from Chowan, Beasley attended Millersville University in Pennsylvania where she continued her highlighted volleyball career and education. She was named NCAA Defensive Player of the Year after leading the nation in digs her senior season.
Beasley went on to work for Sovereign Bank in Reading, Pennsylvania as Vice President for Call Center Operations. She is activley involved with volleyball and competes regionally and nationally each year in various tournaments and leagues.
She is married to Shawn Beasley and they reside in Topton, Pennsylvania. Â
