Jack Crenshaw attended Chowan College from 1954-1956. He was a two-year starter in both football and baseball for the Braves. In 1955, Crenshaw was selected for the All-State Team as a halfback helping to lead the Braves to a record of 8-1. Off the field Jack was Vice President of the freshman class and was the “May King” in 1956.

Crenshaw went on to continue his athletic and academic career at Guilford College, where he was a two-way starter for the Quakers.

In 1959, Crenshaw moved to the other side of the field as the Head Football and Baseball Coach at Aberdeen High School in Aberdeen, North Carolina. He was selected to coach the South team in the North/South game of 1964 in Greenville, NC.

Crenshaw received his Master’s degree in Physical Education and Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1963.

He now resides in Colonial Heights, Virginia with his wife, Nancy.
