Harvey Reinhardt attended Chowan College from 1959-1961. He was the quarterback and co-captain of the Braves football team. Reinhardt was also a two year starter in left field for the baseball team.
Off the field, Reinhardt served as Vice President of the student body and as President of the monogram club. He also served as the President of the Chowan College Braves Club Foundation.
He received his Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of North Carolina in 1964.
In 1965 he moved to Mount Olive, North Carolina and served as an assistant coach in football, basketball, and golf at Southern Wayne High School.
In 1968, Reinhardt became Head football coach and Head basketball coach at New Hope High School. In addition, he served as Athletic Director and Assistant Principal.
Reinhardt now owns an insurance company in Mount Olive, North Carolina where he resides today.
