MURFREESBORO, N.C.-For the first time this season, the Chowan's Men's Tennis team is ranked in the Oracle ITA Division II National Rankings as a team. 

The Hawks enters the polls ranked 48th in the country despite posting a 15-7 overall record and 2018 Conference Carolinas Men's Tennis Championship title. Chowan currently post an eight win streak on the year and joins Limestone (#28) on the men's side.

Sana'a Yemen native Ghassan Alansi enters the Oracle ITA Division II National Rankings in singles action. Alansi is currently ranked 74th after posting a 14-5 season record at the No.1 position for the Hawks. Alansi is the only Conference Carolinas singles player to be ranked in the top-75
