HILTON HEAD, SC- The Chowan University men's tennis team cruised past Roosevelt University on Sunday afternoon with a 9-0 win.  The Hawks improve to 4-4 with the victory while the Lakers move to 0-4 on the year after the loss. 
 
Chowan easily handled Roosevelt and swept them in both doubles and singles play.  Pedro Aiala/Danilo Galovic topped Carlos Alcantar/Jake Cegelnik 8-3 while Farid Hajizada/Ivan Doubograev and Sasha Kirsanov/Tristan Martin topped their opponents 8-1 and 8-0 respectively. 
 
The Hawks blew past the Lakers in singles play as well as Hajizada, Aiala, Kirsanov, Martin, Galovic and Doubograev picked up wins. 
 
Chowan hits the court again on March 11^th when they take on St. Joseph's University (IN) at 12:00pm in Hilton Head, SC.
