Box Score SHIPPENSBURG, PA – The Chowan University volleyball team suffered a 3-0 loss at Shippensburg University on Saturday.  SU won by scores of 25-20, 25-15, 20-17.  The Hawks fall to 20-5 following the non-conference loss, and Shippensburg improves to 8-16.
 
Tori Lewis was the lone Hawk with double figure kills, as she totaled 11 for the match.  She also had nine digs and a block.  Monica Ruffin and Megan Sawyer each hit double figures in digs.  Ruffin tallied a team-high 14, while Sawyer had 12.  Chowan career assist leader Callie Armistead notched 13 more today.
 
Chowan returns to CIAA play on Friday, October 21^st, when they travel to Bowie, MD to play the Lady Bulldogs of Bowie State University.  Game time will be 6:00pm.
