MURFREESBORO - The Pride used a 5 run 8th inning to win over the Braves in baseball action this afternoon. Notched at 2 runs apiece, the Braves pitching staff allowed 5 runs on 6 hits in the top of the 8th that put the Pride in a good position to win the game. Danny Petitte got the loss after tossing 7.1 innings, giving up 5 hits and 4 runs, 2 of which were earned. Mike Harris,

TJ Thompson all saw time in relief. For the Braves,
Nick Hagler and
Kenny Bragg each had two hits. Knutson got the win for the Pride after pitching a complete game, allowing 7 hits and 2 runs. The Braves move to 23-14 on the season and 6-7 in the Dixie with the loss.
