KINGSPORT, TENN. – The Chowan Men's and Women's Swimming program started the opening day of the Conference Carolinas Swimming Championships with two all-conference performances in the relays.

INSIDE THE LANES
200 Medley Relay:
The quad of Senan Noonan, Aleksei Belolipetskii, Dimitrije Markovic, and Robert Liz Cabera handed the Hawks their first All-Conference selection of the Championships with a second place finish with a time of 1:32.62 to earn Second Team All-Conference.
The "B" relay posted a time of 1:42.79 consisting of Huascar Urbina, Ethan Moxey, Jose Medina, and Christian Oleaga.
For the women: Erica Mock, Hiba Laknit, Ashley Mayes, and Aislinn Kessinger finished fifth overall with a time of 1:48.57 to post a new school record, breaking the old record set at the Championships in the 2017-18 season.
800 Free Relay:
After a bit of confusion with the change with heats, the men's relay broke the school record by 15 seconds posted in 2019-20 to earn Third Team All-Conference. Dimitrije Markovic, Aleksei Belolipetskii, Senan Noonan, and Robert Liz Cabrera swam the school record breaking time of 6:49.95.
Hiba Laknit, Elizabeth Waltz, Olivia Mock, and Lina Danna swam the Hawks to a sixth place finish.
