MURFREESBORO, N.C. – As baseball hits the "All-Star" break during various summer leagues, 26 Chowan Baseball players are honing their crafts this summer within the collegiate summer baseball leagues.

Edenton Steamers:

Nicky Wohleking – 3-1 in five appearances with a team-high 32 strikeouts in 28.1 innings

Tyler West – limited action, 15 games has a triple and a RBI

Wilson Tobs:

Shane Rademacher – 2-0 in six appearances with 24.2 innings pitched and 26 strikeouts.

Clayton Clovers:

Caleb Karie – hitting .312 with eight RBI and four walks with a double and a triple.

Boone Bigfoots:

Ryan Bellamy – hitting .364 with five doubles and eight RBI

Collin Riddick – appeared in two games with one inning pitched.

Dallas Trevena –  appeared in nine games.

Rockville Express:

Timothy Blackman – appeared in five games with 3.1 innings pitched with 12 strikeouts.

Konner Tomczak – appeared in three games for 3.0 innings pitched.

Haymakers (Power Summer Collegiate League):

Ben Bausas – 7.1 innings with 7 strikeouts and a 1.23 ERA, hitting .259 with a double and four RBI and five walks.

Landon Oughton –  has drawn 11 walks in 13 games with five hits and three RBI.
