Ryan Bellamy and Caleb Karie notched a pair of hits in the bottom of the second but was left stranded.
The Flying Fleet added three runs in the fourth on a home run to lead 5-0. Erskine added to their advantage in the fifth inning to lead 9-0 on a pair of miscues by the Hawks.

Following a pitching change by the Fleet, Emanuel Betancourt welcomed the new pitcher with a base knock up the middle. Patrick Krack singled to left before Caleb Karie placed a ball down the right field line to break up the shutout. Carrington Williams drew a walk to load the bases before Justin Winslow doubled to right center to clear the bases, 9-4. Dallas Trevena would chase the pitcher with an infield single. Noah Evington greeted the new pitcher with a single down the left field line to plate Winslow. Betancourt doubled down the left field line to plate a pair to close out the rally and cut the deficit to 9-7.
Erskine countered with a pair in the seventh inning as two free passes sparked the rally for the Fleet, 11-9. The Fleet tacked on a pair in the ninth inning to lead 13-7.
Patrick Krack started a rally in the bottom of the ninth inning drawing a four-pitch walk. Krack would move to second on a wild pitch before a two-out walk by Carrington Williams. The pair moved up a base on a wild pitch before Krack came across to score on a slow ground ball by Justin Winslow.
