MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) announced its 2026 Baseball All-Region Teams on Monday morning. Chowan University's
Ahmaad Goldson earned D2CCA All-Southeast Region First Team honors as a utility player/pitcher following a solid senior season debut for the Hawks.
Goldson played multiple roles throughout the season, appearing as a pitcher, designated hitter, outfielder, and first baseman. He finished the year as one of Chowan's top contributors both offensively and on the mound.
At the plate, Goldson led the Hawks with 29 RBIs and four home runs while posting a .345 batting average and a .558 slugging percentage. He also recorded 39 hits and 11 stolen bases.
Defensively, Goldson saw time at several positions across the field, making appearances in the outfield, infield, and on the mound. Over the Hawks 38 games, he totaled 56 putouts, nine assists, and helped turn three double plays.
On the mound, Goldson led the Chowan pitching staff in innings pitched (45.0), strikeouts (46), and wins (3). He would record a complete game against Ferrum, pitching seven innings in a double header at home.
Goldson's ability to contribute in multiple areas on the field made him one of the most versatile players in the region and earned him First Team All-Region recognition.
