Chowan is 5-9 on the season and 0-3 in league action after their most recent series loss to King.
Jack Kane leads the team with a .356 batting average with 16 hits, five doubles, and seven RBI. Jared Fry is hitting .270 with a team leading four home runs and 11 RBI. Travis Cross is also hitting .270 with three doubles and six RBI.
Caleb Peterson leads the Hawks out of the pen with a 2-0 record and a 2.92 ERA. Wyatt Beakler has a 3.92 ERA with 25 strikeouts. Shane Rademacher is 2-2 on the hill this season.
ATTACKING THE TROJANS
Mount Olive is 12-2 on the season and 3-0 in league play. The Trojans are ranked seventh in the country in the NCBWA polls.
Blake McLean and JT Stone lead the Trojans with a .415 batting average. Joe Mason and Junior Snow are also hitting above .300 with double-digit RBI totals.
Hunter Stevens is 3-0 this season with a 1.04 ERA with three complete games. Jake Isbell is 2-0 this season with two saves and a 2.89 ERA.
