Chowan split their midweek contests against St. Andrews and UNC Pembroke to move to 3-4 on the season.

Jack Kane leads the Hawks at the plate with a .385 batting average and three doubles.  Jared Fry slugged his fourth home run of the season to go with his nine RBI and a batting average of .320.

Dallas Trevena is hot this week going 4-9 at the plate with two doubles.  Caleb Peterson is 1-0 this season out of the bullpen in two appearances with a 1.80 ERA.  Wyatt Beakler has a 2.53 ERA with 13 strikeouts.

HUNTING THE GOLDEN BEARS

Kutztown comes to Murfreesboro for their first action of the season after going 7-30 last season.

Zach Moretski led the Golden Bears at the plate last season with a .276 average.  Jacoby Pate hit .229 last season.

Doug Conrad pitched 46.0 innings last season with a 2-6 record and a 5.09 ERA to lead the team.
