Chowan moved to 2-3 on the season after splitting a pair of contested games against East Stroudsburg over the weekend.
Jack Kane leads the offensive attack at the plate with a .389 batting average. Kane has two doubles and six RBI early in the season. Jared Fry is hitting .313 with two doubles and two home runs.
Caleb Peterson leads the team out of the bullpen with a 1.80 ERA in two appearances with 5.0 innings pitched and a 1-0 record. Wyatt Beakler has a 2.53 ERA throwing a no-decision on Sunday.
FLANKING THE KNIGHTS
St. Andrews has a 4-4 record this season and comes off a split in a four-game series with West Virginia Tech over the weekend.
Greg Izzo leads the Knights with a .667 batting average and six RBI. Davis O'Brien is 2-0 on the hill this season with a 0.00 ERA in 14.0 innings.
CHARGING THE BRAVES
UNC Pembroke is 5-2 on the season coming off a series win against Lock Haven.
Alex Simpson leads the team with a .471 average recording two doubles, two home runs and eight RBI. Ethan Baucom has two home runs and 12 RBI on the season.
Landen Smith is 2-0 this season in relief with a 0.00 ERA and allowing two hits with nine strikeouts.
