HAWKS HIGHLIGHTS

Chowan slipped to 7-4-1 on the season after falling in the series against Barton over the weekend.

Marquise Lanier leads the team at the plate with a .448 batting average.  Lanier has 21 hits on the season including nine doubles and three home runs to go with 14 RBI.

Nick Rose is batting .300 this season with four doubles and one home run with 11 RBI.

HALTING THE PATRIOTS

Francis Marion is 11-6 on the season and 5-3 in non-conference contests.  The Patriots are coming off a 19-0 victory against winless Davis & Elkins on Saturday.

Cole Hinnant leads the team with a .438 average while collecting 32 hits, nine doubles and 19 RBI.  Gage Taylor paces the team with 25 RBI and hitting .311.

Evan Flynn is 3-0 on the hill this season with a 3.71 ERA.  The team produces a 3.59 ERA.
