MURFREESBORO, N.C.-The Chowan Men's and Women's Tennis teams are set to host Erskine and Emmanuel in conference action. The Women will face Erskine on Friday, March 29 before both programs will take on Emmanuel on Saturday, March 30^th.

Women's Tennis
The women will match up against Erskine on Friday before taking on Emmanuel on Saturday, March 30^th.  The Hawks look to recover from a 5-2 loss to Division III North Carolina Wesleyan on Tuesday afternoon.

Arina Karbolina grabbed the No. 2 position win 5-2 by retirement from her opponent, while teammate Julieta Lecce recovered for the Blue and White with a 7-5, 2-6, 10-6 victory at the third singles match.

THEIR OPPONENTS
Erskine comes into the contest with a 4-8 overall record and 3-1 in the league after defeating King 7-0 in conference play.

The two teams last met in the spring of 2018 when the Hawks defeated the Flying Fleet with a clean 9-0 sweep.

Emmanuel posts an 8-7 season record and a clean 5-0 in the conference after picking up a 7-0 victory over Shorter on Wednesday afternoon.

Men's Tennis
The Hawks post a 5-9 season record and 3-2 conference record after defeating North Carolina Wesleyan 4-3 on Tuesday. With a 6-2, 6-4 score, Edmond Aynedjian defeated the Bishops at the No.1 singles position.

Mariano Yeh beat his No.2 singles opponent 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 for the Blue and White, while Adi Kaliakperov secured the No.3 singles victory 6-3, 7-5 for the Hawks.

The men will gear up for a conference match against Emmanuel on Saturday, March 30. The Lions enter the match with a 4-8 overall record and 3-1 in the league after defeating Shorter on Wednesday, 6-1.
