NORFOLK, Va.-The Chowan Men's and Women's Swimming programs dominated the pool as they defeated Virginia Wesleyan on the road Saturday afternoon.

200 Medley Relay
For the Women:
The Hawks won the event with Laurie-Ann,
Julia Stegmaier,
Jasmine Gibson, and
Grace Arredondo who posted a time of 1:55.06
For the Men:
The A and B team took first and second place for the Hawks.

For the Women:
Atar Idrissi clocked a time of 12:17.68 to win event while
Keitra Lloyd posted a 12:33.70 for the Hawks.
For the Men:
Igor Proszynski won the event with a time of 10:19.15 while
Garrett Kirkland finished in second with a time of 11:23.51.

For the Women:
After posting a 2:04.47 for Chowan

Winning the event for Chowan was
Marissa Mann who swam a 2:29.77 in the meet.

For the Women:
The Hawks took home first and second place with the A and B team. The A team swam a 1:45.38 while the B team clocked a 1:53.26.
For the Men:
With a 1:33.43 time, the A team won the event while the B team secured second place with a time of 1:39.58.

Chowan will travel to Spartanburg, S.C. to compete against Mars Hill and Converse. First event is set to go off at 1:00pm.
