MURFREESBORO, N.C.-The Chowan Men's and Women's Swimming teams are back in the pool on Saturday, October 26 when they travel to Norfolk, Va. to compete against Virginia Wesleyan in a dual meet.

HAWKS HIGHLIGHTS
Chowan is back in action after falling short to Division I Howard at home last weekend. The men currently sit 0-3 on the season while the women post a 1-2 record on the year.
In the 800 Free
Meghan Allen and
Shaine Olmstead both grabbed a second place finish in their events. Allen posted a time of 10:29.09 while Olmstead recorded a 9:36.86 race time.
Megan Reid secured the event win after she clocked a time of 1:3.54 in the 100 Butterfly. On the men's side,
Andrew Simmons won the 100 Backstroke after he touched the wall in 1:08.20 for the Hawks.
ABOUT THE MARLINS
Virginia Wesleyan's men's swimming team posts a 0-1 season record after dropping to Randolph 144-72 on October 19. The women picked up a 134-61 victory over Randolph to post a 1-0 overall record.
The Hawks and Marlins last competed in fall 2019 at home with Chowan claiming the dual meet victory.
First race is slated for 1:00pm.
