MURFREESBORO, N.C.-The Chowan Men's and Women's Swimming team dives back into the pool to compete against Barton and Lees-McRae in a two day tri-meet on Friday, October 11.

HAWKS HIGHLIGHTS
Chowan opened their season with a sixth place finish at the King Invitational on October 5. In the 400 IM
Laurie-Ann Sargent placed top-10 with a time of 4:56.09, while teammateÂ
Erin Garza recorded a 5:33.16 in her race.
On the men's side, I
gor Proszynski secured a top-10 finish with a 1:50.52 race time in the 200 Free.
Julia Stegmaier swam for the Hawks to clock a time of 2:33.45 for a fourth place finish in the 200 Breast, while
Lucas Pels posted a time of 2:22.34 for a top-10 finish for the men.

Chowan will face their first head-to-head competition of the season against Barton and Lees-McRae.
Barton opens their 2019-20 campaign on Friday with the tri-meet
Lees-McRae kicked off their season at the Kings Invitational with a third place finish for the Men and an eighth place finish on the women's side.
