CU Swimming Host Braves and Pacers in Home Finale

MURFREESBORO, N.C.- The Chowan Men's and Women's Swimming program hosts UNC Pembroke and William Peace on Saturday, January 19 for a tri-meet. The meet will also honor SheAyre Bowles and AnnMarie Spiker for senior day.

HAWKS, BRAVES AND PACERS
Chowan competes in their final home meet of the season and final events of the year before heading to the Conference Carolinas Conference Championships in early February.

The Hawks and Braves, last met in January 2018 for a home dual meet. Chowan came out on top with the 98-76 victory.

William Peace enters the competition with a 0-2 record in head to head meets.

Farewell SheAyre and AnnMarie
SheAyre Bowles and AnnMarie Spiker will compete in their final home meet for the Blue and White on Saturday. The seniors have made a huge impact on the program. In the three seasons with the Hawks, Bowles holds three relay records and three all-conference relay teams.

Spiker holds two individual records, two relay records and five all-conference relay teams in the two years with the program. The Frisco, Tx native will pursue her Master's Degree in ESL after graduating in the Fall of 2019.
