HAWKS HIGHLIGHTS
Chowan moved to 11-14-1 on the season after falling in a pair of tough contests against UNC Pembroke last week.
Harry Markotay leads the team with a .394 batting average and has an 11 game hitting streak. Markotay also leads the team with 41 hits and 26 RBI. Nick Rose and Robert Williams are second on the squad with a .329 batting average. Marquise Lanier rounds out the .300+ batting averages at .303.
Josh Vincent leads the team on the mound with a 3-1 record. Cody Smith is 1-3 on the season despite a 4.41 ERA.
BULLDOG BITES
Barton is 10-27 on the season and has won one game in their last 13 contests. The Bulldogs picked up a win in the series against Southern Wesleyan over the weekend to snap a 10 game losing streak.
Troy Maslowski leads the Bulldogs at the plate with a .342 batting average and 23 RBI.
KNIGHTS NOTES
St. Andrews is 17-17 on the season and 2-4 since the last meeting with the Hawks.
Ryne Dickens leads the Knights with a .395 batting average, 47 hits, seven HRs and 26 RBI.
Trevor Maly is 4-2 on the season taking the ball on the mound with a 4.31 ERA.
