HAWKS HIGHLIGHTS

Chowan dropped to 8-12-1 after falling to USC Aiken in a pair of contests on March 6-7.

Nick Rose leads the ball club with a .354 batting average.  Harry Markotay is just behind Rose with a .353 average and leads the team with 30 hits.  Markotay and Trent Brosdahl pace the club with 18 RBI.

Josh Vincent is 3-1 on the hill this season.  Trenton Lee and Vinny Puma are 1-1 on the season coming out of the pen. Cody Smith leads the club with 33 strikeouts.

KNIGHTS NOTES

St. Andrews is 15-12 on the season and losers of four straight.

Ryne Dickens leads the Knights with a .398 batting average, 37 hits, six HRs and 22 RBI.  Nolan Pierce is hitting .365 with 27 hits for second on the ball club.

Zach Saylor is 4-2 on the mound this season in 44.2 innings pitched.  Saylor has a 4.03 ERA.
