Box Score FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga.- The Chowan Men's Tennis team secured a 7-2 win over Emmanuel College on Friday afternoon in conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
In Doubles:

• Ghassan Alansi and Adi Kaliakperov fell short in a battle at the No.1 doubles 8-7(7-5) to Emmanuel.
• Mariano Yeh and Mateusz Izycki recovered for the Hawks with a 8-3 win at the No.2 doubles match while, the doubles duo Rafael Goncalves and Louis Proulx took the No.3 doubles 8-2 for the Hawks. 

In Singles:

• Ghassan Alansi grabbed the No.1 singles 6-2, 4-6, 6-3 for the Blue and White.
• The Lions picked up the No.2 singles match 3-0 with a retirement from Adi Kaliakperov.
• Mateusz Izycki secured the 6-2, 6-2 win at the No. 3 singles while, Mariano Yeh won the No.4 singles match 6-3, 6-2 for the Hawks.
• At the No.5 singles position Rafael Goncalves beat his opponent in a 7-6 (16-14) 6-4 battle. 
• Louis Proulx grabbed the sixth singles match 6-1, 1-6 in a 6-4 tiebreaker.

The Hawks travel to Due West S.C. on Saturday, March 17th for a conference match up against Erskine. Match time is slated for 11:00am.
