MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan Baseball team hosts Molloy in a three-game series starting on Saturday, February 17 and wraps up on Sunday, February 18.
The Hawks will try to beat the weather on Saturday switching from a doubleheader to a single nine inning contest. Chowan will wrap-up the series on Sunday with a doubleheader.

Chowan is 2-6 on the season after falling to Francis Marion in a pair of contests during the week. The Hawks dropped the opener 11-5 before falling 4-2 in the finale.
Robert Williams leads the Hawks with a .360 batting average. Tyler Jones and Marquise Lanier are also hitting above .300 with .333 and .321 respectively. All three have a team-high nine hits. Lanier leads the squad with four home runs including three at home.
Will Edwards is 1-0 on the season with a 2.57 ERA in 7.0 innings of work. Cody Smith is 0-1 on the season with a team-high 15 punchouts.

Molloy opens the season against the Hawks with a three-game series. The Lions finished the 2017 season 21-29 including a 4-11 mark on the road.
