MURFREESBORO, N.C.-The Chowan Men's and Women's swimming program host their first of two home meets of the 2018-19 season. The Hawks welcome Virginia Wesleyan and Pfeiffer to the Bynum Brown Aquatics Center on Saturday.

HAWKS PROFILE
Chowan is coming off a 0-1 season opener with the Hawks falling to Division I Howard University.
For the Women,
Sabrine Todd finished second in the 100 Backstroke after posting a 1:03.17 event time.
AnnMarie Spiker secured the top spot for the Hawks in the 200 Breaststroke when she touched the wall at 2:34.7, while
Marissa Mann won the 1000 Free in a time of 12:05.79.
On the Men side,
Lucas Pels recorded a 2:20.27 in the 200 Breaststroke to place second for the Blue and White.
Donald Bowman posted a second place finish in the 200 Butterfly after clocking a 2:13.10 time, while
Taylor Woodard touched the wall in 58.80 in the 100 Backstroke for the Hawks.
The women will face Virginia Wesleyan and Pfeiffer in a tri-meet while the men will only swim against Virginia Wesleyan. The meet is set to start at 2:00pm, live video will be available.
