SUMTER, S.C. – The Chowan Men's and Women's Tennis Teams completed the third and final day of the ITA Southeast Regional Conference Carolinas Tournament on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Women's Doubles A
- Valeriya Kolegova and Hanna Tarlouskaya matched up with Fantine Botella and Chloe O'Connor from Emmanuel in the semifinals round. The Hawks secured the 6-3 victory with their sights set on the finals.
- The doubles duo played Laura Aholu and Camille Haus of Limestone and came out on top after battling for a 7-6(6) finals win.
Women's Doubles B
- Angelique Gouin and Juileta Lecce fell short in the finals round 6-3 after facing Ana Chirila and Alexandria Dolfi (Limestone).
In Singles Play:
Women's Singles A
- Hanna Tarlouskaya def. Maria Raich (Emmanuel) 6-2, 1-6, 1-0(7) but was unable to hold off Laura Aholu (Limestone) 0-6, 7-5, 1-0(10) in the semifinals.
- Arina Karbolina dropped in the quarterfinals 6-0, 6-1 to Pearllan Cipriano (Emmanuel).
Women's Singles B
- Julieta Lecce slipped to Chloe O'Connor (Emmanuel) 5-7, 6-2, 1-0(0) in the quarterfinals

In singles play:
Men's Singles A
- Mariano Yeh picked up 6-3, 3-6, 1-0(9) win over Kent Shiell (Belmont Abbey) in the semifinals round. Yeh advanced to the finals to compete against Armando Ferreira (Mount Olive but retired 6-1, 2-1 due to an injury.
