Box Score 2 WILSON, N.C. - The Chowan University men's and women's tennis teams traveled to Barton College on Sunday for a Conference Carolinas match up. The men's team pulled out a 4-3 win over the Bulldogs, moving them to 8-7 on the year overall and 5-4 in league play. The women's dropped their match 5-2 to fall to 5-12 on the year.

Women
The Hawks dropped their doubles matches and headed into singles play down 1-0. Marcia Aragon picked up a 6-4, 6-4 win at the #12 singles position while Feidi Abreu Rodriguez beat her opponent 6-2, 6-2 at the #2 singles position.
Men
The men battled to beat the Bulldogs 4-3. Thales Sette and Tadeo Sanchez won the #2 doubles match 6-4 while David De Simon and Teramusa Inoue teamed up to win the #3 doubles. With the doubles point in hand, the Hawks went to work on the singles side. De Simon won his match at the #3 singles, 6-3 and 6-2 while Tadeo Missan won at the #5 singles, 6-3, 6-0. Sanchez picked up a 6-1, 7-5 win in the #6 singles position to help the Hawks gain the 4-3 win over Barton.
UP NEXT
The Hawks will travel to the University of Mount Olive on Friday for a 2:00pm match before returning home to host Francis Marion on Saturday, April 18th for Senior Day.
