Adi Kaliakperov provided the lone win for the Hawks during No. 2 singles. Kaliakperov secured both sets 6-4, 6-3 over Kasey Countee.
Mateusz Izycki took a set at No. 4 singles but would fall in the tiebreaking set.
Kaliakperov and Ghassan Alansi led 4-3 at No. 1 doubles as East Carolina took the doubles point.
