SUMTER, S.C. – The Chowan Men's and Women's Tennis Teams completed the third and final day of the ITA Southeast Regional Conference Carolinas Tournament on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
For the Men
Rafael Goncalves and Louis Proulx took home the Men's Flight B Doubles Finals with a 8-6 win over Arturo Alfaro and Lennard Keswani (King).

For the Women
Cynthia Carrier and Angelique Gouin secured the Women's Flight B Doubles Finals with a 8-1 victory over Faith Moyers and Laura Brazuelo (North Greenville).

In singles competition Roxana Daneshjoo defeated Darian DeFrench 6-2, 6-2 (Belmont Abbey) in the semifinals. Daneshjoo fell short in the finals 6-4, 6-3 to Chloe O'Connor (Emmanuel).

UP NEXT
The Hawks return to action on September 23 when they host the Chowan 2-of-3 Challenge at the Rose Family Tennis Complex. Competition is slated for 10am.
