ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, FLA. – The Chowan University Men's Tennis team saw their historic run come to an end in the NCAA DII Tennis Sweet 16, as the Hawks suffered a 5-0 loss to #16 Ferris State on Tuesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Mateusz Izycki and Mariano Yeh put up a fight at No. 1 doubles against the nationally ranked Bulldogs duo before falling 8-4. Ferris State would take the doubles matches 3-0.
At No. 1 singles, Adi Kaliakperov battled but ultimately fell 7-5 in the first set and was unfinished as the Bulldogs secured the victory, 5-0.
