Box Score AIKEN, SC - The Chowan University baseball team dropped a 10-3 decision to #19 USC-Aiken on Saturday night. The loss dropped the Hawks to 24-23 on the season. The Hawks have to finish half an inning with Saint Augustine's University before calling their regular season into close. The suspended game from earlier this year will take place on Monday, May 1st in Cary, North Carolina.
Chowan was held to six hits in the game, led by senior outfielder
Connor Arcobasso who garnered the teams only multiple hit game at 2-4.
Marquise Lanier ended the day 1-3 with an RBI. Teammate
Robert Williams went 1-4 with an RBI.
Bailey Lipscomb (5-6) pitched five innings for the loss. He gave up four hits and three runs in five innings of work while striking out five Pacer batters.

The Hawks (24-21) will travel to Saint Augustine's on Monday to continue with a suspended game (light) from earlier this year. Following that game, they will travel to Petersburg, Virgnia for the 2017 CIAA Baseball Championship.
