FLORENCE, SC - The Chowan University baseball team will travel to Florence, South Carolina on Tuesday and Wednesday to play Francis Marion University. First pitch for Tuesday, February 14th, is set for 5:00pm. Wednesday's game has been pushed back from a 2:00pm start time to a 5:00pm to accommodate for inclement weather.

Francis Marion enters Tuesday's match up at 6-0 while the Hawks enter at 2-2. Chowan last played the opening weekend in February against Coker College. The Hawks split the four-game series, dropping Saturday's (2/4) doubleheader but bouncing back to take two decisive wins on Sunday (2/5).

Marquis Lanier is leading the team in batting average heading into the two-gamer series with FMU. Lanier is hitting at a .615 clip through four games and led the team offensively in the Coker College series.
Connor Arcobasso is hitting at a .500 clip and newcomer
Harry Markotay is batting .455 through four games.
The Hawks will be in action at home over the weekend when they play host to West Liberty University in a three-gamer series starting on Saturday. First pitch is slated for 12:00pm on the 18th and the 19th. Live coverage will only be available for Sunday, February 19th.
