HAMPTON, VA - The Chowan University men's tennis team downed DI opponent,  Hampton University, 6-1 on Wednesday afternoon, and improved to 13-6 on the season with the victory. 

The Hawks took two out of three doubles matches to earn their first point using the NCAA Division I scoring system.
 
The Hawks then won five out of the six singles matches to secure the 6-1 win. Adi Kaliakperov increased his singles win-streak to 12 while the doubles duo of Mateusz Izycki and Mariano Yeh also improved their win-streak to 12.

Chowan returns to action on Sunday afternoon when they host Longwood University at the Rose Family Tennis Complex. Match time is scheduled for 2:00pm.
