Box Score LAURINBURG, NC- The St. Andrews University Knights handed the Chowan University volleyball team a 3-0 setback on Thursday evening.  The Hawks move to 19-9 overall with the loss while the Knights post a 20-13 record after Thursday's win.

St. Andrews edged Chowan 26-24 in the opening set and topped the Hawks 25-21 in set two.  The Knights built on the momentum in set three, and toppled Chowan 25-16 to earn the 3-0 match win. 

Courtney O'Keefe led the effort for the Hawks with eight kills.  She added nine digs in the setback.  Morgan Spencer chipped in seven kills for the Chowan Blue and White with Sydney Miller adding five kills over the course of the contest.  Bailey Zavala recorded 16 digs in the loss while Karisa Patterson handed out 14 assists. 

Angelica Arroyo paced the Knights with 14 kills in the win.  Era Kryeziu and Angela Bradford each notched seven kills.  Nora Darrhar grabbed 23 digs for St. Andrews with Shalia Powell tallying 34 assists.

Chowan concludes CIAA play next week when the Hawks play host to Virginia State University on November 7^th.  First serve is slated for 6pm in the Helms Center.  The Hawks round out the regular season on Friday, November 11^th in a 6pm contest against Virginia Union University.
