LYNCHBURG, VA - The Chowan University men's tennis team fell to 1-4 on the year after top-ranked NCAA Atlantic Regional foe Bluefield State University toppled the Hawks 5-0. Bluefield State swept all three doubles matches and two of six singles matches to claim the 5-0 win. The remainder of the matches went unfinished as the Hawks trailed by too many to mount a comeback. 

Currently Bluefield State sits atop of the NCAA DII Atlantic Region rankings. Chowan will wrap up weekend play on Sunday as they travel over to Hampden-Syndney College for a 2:00pm match.
