GREENSBORO, NC- The Chowan University men's tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision to Davis and Elkins on Sunday afternoon. The loss takes the Hawks to 11-7 on the season while the Senators improve to 8-3.

Ivan Doubograev earned their 14
th victory of the season in doubles competition at the number two spot.

Sasha Kirsanov came up short in doubles play with 8-5 and 8-6 losses respectively.
In singles play, Galovic was the lone Hawk to earn a victory. He topped Jonathon Gainer 6-2, 6-1. Hajizada, Aiala, Martin, Kirsanov and Doubograev all suffered setbacks, resulting in a 7-2 win for the Senators.
The Hawks return to action and CIAA play on March 31
st when they travel to Richmond, VA to take on the Virginia University Panthers. Match time is slated for 1:00pm.
