Box Score WINSTON-SALEM, NC- The Chowan University baseball team opened up CIAA completion on Saturday afternoon in a doubleheader against the Winston-Salem State University Rams.  The Hawks fell 3-1 in the first game and 20-2 in the nightcap.  Chowan slips to 1-10 on the season while Winston-Salem State improves to 8-5.  Both teams will meet again on Sunday to complete the four game series. 
 
The series is the first for both teams in CIAA play.  First pitch on Sunday is slated for 1:00pm.
