MURFREESBORO -- The Norfolk State University tennis team knocked off Chowan University by scores of 9-0 and 5-2 in action here on Thursday. The Hawks bright spot came in women's play as freshman
Natalya Kamenshchikova prevailed in singles and doubles with
Inesa Asatryan.
Chowan's men and women take on division rival Virginia State tomorrow morning in Petersburg, Va.
Chowan's men fall to 6-14 while the women fall to 5-13. The Spartans improve to 8-7 and 7-8, respectively.
