Box Score MURFREESBORO - Millersville University downed the Hawks 8-1 to take the three game series 2-1 over Chowan. The Hawks were held to eight hits over nine innings of play to fall 13-15 on the year. Millersville used a four-run third inning to help ice the game. Chowan won the first game of the series 6-5 and but dropped the last two 16-9 and 8-1.

Tyler Ross picked up his 5th loss of the season on the mound after throwing six innings. He gave up eight runs on nine hitsand struck out three in the game. Ryan Bradshaw, Brett Garrett, and Brandon Mack each pitched an inning in relief. 

William Ward was 2-4 at the plate to lead the Hawks offensively. 

The Hawks will host Virginia State University in a three-game series this weekend.
