WILSON, NC - The Chowan University Tennis teams opened up their spring campaign against Barton College today with a pair of losses.  The Hawks men suffered a 0-9 setback, while Chowan's women managed just one win with a 1-8 loss.  Last year's CIAA Player of the Year, Inesa Asatryan, was the lone winner for Chowan. 
 
The Hawks will travel to play Mount Olive College on Saturday, February 11th.  Chowan's men and women both fall to 0-4 overall for 2011-12.  The Bulldog men improve to 1-2 and their women go to 1-1.
