MURFREESBORO -- The Chowan University men's and women's tennis team both lost by 5-4 scores to visiting Davis & Elkins College on Saturday afternoon.  Despite the loss, the CU women's number one seeded player,  Inesa Asatryan , improved her singles record to 3-1 on the season and has the only winning individual record on the team. Bjorn Blythe and Juan Winstead picked up singles match wins on the men's side while Asatryan, Brittney Moser, and Jena'y Nelson won their singles matches on the women's side.

The Chowan women fall to 0-5 and the men are now 1-4.  This was the first match of the year for the Senators.
