RALEIGH -- The Chowan University women's tennis team won one match and lost one in matches over the weekend. The Hawks dropped a 7-2 decision to Shaw but rebounded with an 8-1 victory over St. Augustine's in CIAA conference play. Chowan's men were not as fortunate, losing to Shaw 9-0 and then 7-0 to St. Augustine's. Chowan's women host UNC-Pembroke on Monday while the men host St. Paul's for their last conference match of the season on Tuesday.
