RALEIGH, NC - The Chowan University baseball program dropped a CIAA doubleheader to Saint Augustine's College this afternoon. The Hawks fell with final scores of 7-3 and 6-3 to move to 7-11-1 overall and 0-3 in the CIAA. The Hawks were held to ten hits, five in each game, over the doubleheader. 

Tyler King gave up eight hits and six runs over two innings pitched to pick up the loss in the 7-3 loss. Lee Dickens pitched four innings in relief of King and held the Falcons to three hits but the Hawks couldn't get any run production in support of his efforts. 

Andrew Hales pitched the second game giving up six runs on three hits. He also struck out eight Falcon batters. Once again the Hawks struggled at the plate, collecting just five hits. Adam Capps was 1-1 with a solo homerun in the game. 

The Hawks are scheduled to host Davis & Elkins in a three-game weekend series over Saturday and Sunday. Both dates are scheduled to start at 12:00pm.
