PETERSBURG, VA - The Braves moved to 5-3 on the season after losing to Va State (2-5) in baseball action yesterday afternoon with a final score of 9-6. The Braves led until 5-1 until the bottom of the 6th when Va State exploded for 5 runs to take the lead 6-5. In the 7th they would score three more to make the score 9-6. Both teams would remain scoreless through the 9th inning. Picking up the loss for the Braves was
Adam Buren who is now 0-2 on the season as a pitcher. Buren gave up 6 hits, 6 runs, and struck out 2 in the loss.
