Kenny Bragg added two hits in the win. Coach Flack credited pitcher Danny Petitte on a great win, "Danny Petitte threw a great game for the Braves today to knock off the #5 team in the country. We thought that hitting was going to our weakest part of our game but we have been working hard on adjusting our hitting with Coach Shiflett. Our timing was really good yesterday with the win. Jarrod is carrying the team right now offensively and hitting the heck out of the ball.
Clint Sanders is also hitting the ball well right now. We are as strong as anyone at the top of our line-up with Lucas, Haynie, Warren, Tanner, and Sanders. The key for success now is to get the bottom half of the line-up hitting just as well."
