AHOSKIE, N.C. –  The Chowan University men's golf team opened play as host of the Hampton Farms Intercollegiate at Beechwood Country Club on Monday, completing rounds one and two. In a field of 11 teams, the Hawks competed with three squads and one individual among 68 total golfers.

INSIDE THE CARDS 

A Team
Harry Jones led the way with a consistent showing, carding rounds of 75-75. He recorded two birdies in round one and added three more in round two to sit in 12th place.

Mika Buchholtz made a strong move up the leaderboard, jumping 21 spots into 21st place. After an opening-round 81, he rebounded with a 72 in round two, tallying two birdies on the front nine and four on the back.

Bryce Koehler also climbed 14 spots, following an 86 in round one with a 72 in round two. He recorded five birdies on the day and sits in 41st place.

Chance Lassiter and Gabriel Ansley are tied for 35th after both carding rounds of 77 to close out the day.

B Team
Ruben Gamez-Aranda paced the group, carding rounds of 80-80 with two birdies in each round to sit in 30th place.

Teddy Fee highlighted his day with an eagle, finishing with a 75 in round two after three birdies in round one. He is tied for 50th place.

Adam Lankford and Justin Peterson are tied for 41st, while Bjoern Holt sits alongside Fee in a tie for 50th.

C Team
Parker Brooks led the C team, improving from an 83 in round one to a 75 in round two to sit in 41st place.

Jacob Kearney followed with rounds of 84-76 to land in 47th place. Bryce Bennett sits in 56th after posting a 78 in round two, while Noah Stewart is in 54th with rounds of 84-80.

EJ Proctor rounded out the group, tied for 62nd alongside individual competitor Jacob Lyles.
