SNOW HILL, N.C. – The Chowan University men's golf team closed out the final day of the Conference Carolinas Men's Golf Championship, finishing seventh overall. Gabriel Ansley led the way with a strong under-par 69, while Bryce Koehler followed closely with a 70, as both turned in the team's lowest rounds of the day to finish the tournament and the season on a high note.

Ansley finished seventh overall in the championship, carding a 69 after shooting 36 on the front nine with two birdies and closing strong with three birdies on the back for a 33. Koehler jumped up the leaderboard 14 spots with a final-round 70, highlighted by three birdies and a 34 on the front nine.
Mika Buchholtz posted a 74, shooting 38 on the front and 36 on the back, including a birdie in his final round, to finish 23rd overall. Chance Lassiter recorded a 78 with two birdies to place 31st, while Adam Lankford stepped into the lineup and shot a 78, closing out his round with birdies on holes 16 and 18.
