Featured Hawks: Teddy Fee
Every Friday Chowan Athletics will spotlight select student-athletes and coaches in a series called Featured Hawks. This series highlights Hawks who exemplify excellence in the classroom, in competition, and within the Chowan community. Student-athletes were selected based on their academic achievement, athletic performance, leadership, character, and overall standing with the university. Coaches have the opportunity to share their coaching journey, discuss their programs, and provide insight about their vision for the future.
Fans will learn more about the individual experiences and stories of our student-athletes and coaches at Chowan as the spotlight series will continue by highlighting one individual throughout the school year each week.

Teddy Fee enters his sophomore season as a member of the Chowan University men's golf team while pursuing a degree in Business Administration. A native of Worcester, England, Fee made an immediate impact during his freshman campaign, delivering a solid season on the course that earned him Rookie Class Award honors at the 2025-26 Chowan Athletics Awards Ceremony.
Fee has been just as impressive in the classroom, maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA throughout his time at Chowan. His academic excellence earned him recognition among the Hawks' Top 50, placing him among the top students in his class with a 4.0 GPA.
With a successful freshman season under his belt, Fee enters year two more acclimated to Chowan and the collegiate game. With his experience growing on the course and his continued success in the classroom, Fee is poised to build on his freshman year and take another step forward in his sophomore season.
Why did you choose Chowan University?
I decided to come to Chowan because everyone here made it feel like one big family. I also feel like everyone's here to help you succeed and eventually help you graduate. This is something that's really important to me, as I feel like I can go up to any member of staff or any other student and get their help or advice on something. This is going to help me proceed and do what I wanted to do in my life.
In what ways has Chowan helped prepare you for life after college?
I think Chowan has helped me quite a lot before I eventually graduate and move on into a real job because it's helped me come out of my comfort zone and meet new people from a different part of the world. This is something I would never have done if I didn't come to Chowan. It has made me have so many connections and made so many new friends, and this is something I'm going to need to do when I move into a job, so I can speak to new people and create connections in the real world.
Who has had the greatest impact on your journey at Chowan, and why?
I would say my teammates. This is because I have always had a good time with them, no matter where I am with them. They help me both on the golf course and off. If I need any help with anything, this could even be schoolwork, I know exactly who to go to. They have helped me so much during my time here, and I don't think I'd have done as well in my first year without them.
