MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Conference Carolinas office announced its Week 8 Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week on Monday afternoon, with Chowan University earning recognition following the Hawks' teo competitions during last week.

Reed Low was named Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season after earning the honor back in week three. The Defensive Player of the Week honor went to Belmont University.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK 
Reed Low | Chowan | Junior | Attack | Sherwood Park, Alberta
Low opened the week with a strong performance, recording two goals and an assist in a narrow 9-8 contest against Post University. He elevated his play later in the week on the road against Emmanuel University, tallying a game-high seven goals along with two assists to finish with 12 total points for the week. The junior continues to raise the bar week after week, reaching his 100th career point against Post while also setting Chowan single-game records for both assists and total points earlier this month against Shorter.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK 
Eddie Kielkopf | Belmont Abbey | Junior | Goalkeeper | St. Paul, Minnesota
Kielkopf was big in a pair of Belmont Abbey wins last week, making 11 saves on 60 shots faced. He started with six saves in a 9-8 win over North Greenville before making five saves in a win over Barton. He added five ground balls in the win over North Greenville.
