MURFREESBORO, N.C. - The Chowan University men's lacrosse team dropped a 20-4 match to North Greenville on Saturday afternoon. The Hawks hosted their final regular season home match against the Trailblazers. Todd Egan picked up two goals in the match while teammate Scott Cathcart added two assists.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE

The Hawks got behind early in the match before Todd Egan got them on board. Egan hit a goal at the 6:21 mark of the second period to cut the NGU lead to 10-1 heading into the half. The Trailblazers went on to outscore the Hawks 10-3 in the second half to take the match. 

Todd Egan ended the game with two goals while Scott Cathcart notched two assists. Justin Hill and Treston Gatewood each added a goal in the game. Thomas Rohal added an assist. Rocco Smith got the start inside the frame, getting 12 saves in the match.

The Hawks will round out the regular season on April 17th with a road trip to Barton College. Match time is set for 7:00pm in Wilson, N.C.
